Permanent cosmetic makeup is a state of the art form of cosmetic tattooing. The specialised techniques that use permanent cosmetics are often referred to as “micropigmentation”. The micropigment implantation or demographics technique, deposits tiny individual implants of pigment into the dermal layer of the skin.
How is it done?
Our experienced cosmetic technician will bring out the symmetry and balance that will greatly enhance your beauty. The pigment is inserted into the skin using single use sterile needles. The procedure lasts between 30 to 120 minutes depending on the treatment. This includes consultation and numbing time.
Does it hurt?
A topical anesthetic is applied prior and during the treatment. This numbs the area that is being worked on.
How long does it last?
Some clients results last at least 18 to 36 months from their initial procedure. A colour boost refreshes the colour back to its original colour. Clients who get dark eye liner will find that they can last three to five years in most cases. Keep in mind that all skin is different and the environmental conditions we are exposed to vary from person to person.
